Au sein de l'Institut de Recherche et d'Innovation Biomédicale (IRIB) de Haute-Normandie,
Les travaux de l’unité INSERM 1073 sont focalisés sur les troubles du comportement alimentaire, le syndrome de l'intestin irritable et les maladies inflammatoires chroniques de l'intestin (MICI), pathologies qui ont en commun l'inflammation intestinale, le dysfonctionnement de l'axe intestin-cerveau et offrent des opportunités de thérapeutiques innovantes (pharmaconutrition, neurostimulation). L'approche physiopathologique et thérapeutique est menée depuis le niveau moléculaire jusqu'à l'évaluation clinique. Cette démarche intégrée est rendue possible par les compétences multidisciplinaires des chercheurs et les outils de l’U1073, sur le site de la Faculté et dans les services hospitaliers impliqués. L’unité développe une politique active de valorisation au travers de brevets et de la création de start-ups (Brainworks Applied).
